Alder King appoints partner to Cardiff office

Alder King has made a second senior strategic appointment to its Cardiff office, appointing former JLL director Lee Lapham as a partner. 

Lee, who specialises in valuation, will head up Alder King’s professional team in South Wales, joining partners Owen Young and James Nicholas who was recruited earlier this year from Hansteen.

Lee has extensive knowledge of the South Wales market, having spent the past 15 years at JLL/King Sturge in Cardiff.  He began his career in 1988 with Colliers in London before moving to Wales in 1995.

Martyn Jones, senior partner at Alder King, said: “Lee is a well-known and highly respected professional within the South Wales business community.  He brings a wealth of high level experience and local market knowledge which will be invaluable to us and our clients.  He will play a significant role in helping us further develop our offer in Wales.” 

Lee added: “We have ambitious plans for the Cardiff office, including further appointments, which will extend the breadth and depth of service offering.  The expansion is well-timed to coincide with growing confidence and increased activity across the South Wales market.”
