Alder King delivers warehouse sale to Europe’s largest supplier of Japanese Budo equipment

Acting on behalf of Clifton Estates, the Gloucester office of property consultants Alder King has sold the freehold of a high quality industrial unit on Gloucester Business Park to Nine Circles, Europe’s largest supplier of traditional Japanese Budo equipment.

Nine Circles, which services its mail-order and online sales business from the adjacent unit, acquired Unit 5 Clifton Centre on a freehold basis.  The new unit doubles its floorspace and enables the firm, established in 1994, to expand further its wide range of martial arts products sourced from Japan and Asia.

Rob Holley at Alder King’s Gloucester office, says the sale of the 2,200 sq ft unit demonstrates increased demand from owner occupiers for industrial space.

“As a result of improving economic confidence and funding availability, we have seen strong interest in properties coming to the market.  So far this year, there have been a number of transactions across the county where businesses have acquired the freehold of office or industrial properties,” he says. 

Alder King is now marketing Unit 8 Clifton Centre on a new leasehold basis.  The unit provides 2,000 sq ft of accommodation and offers an excellent opportunity to acquire a small business unit within Gloucester Business Park.
