PKF Francis Clark to relocate in Exeter

Chartered accountants and business advisers PKF Francis Clark are relocating their Exeter operation to larger premises in November.

160 staff will move from the firm’s current premises at Vantage Point on Pynes Hill to Argal House on Peninsula Business Park, Exeter.

Noel Stevens, partner in Alder King’s Exeter office, advised PKF Francis Clark on its move.

“PKF Francis Clark will enjoy sole occupancy at the new building comprising 18,000 sq ft of space over two floors, almost double the area currently occupied at Vantage Point,” he said.

“Prior to the move, Argal House will be updated by the landlord and when combined with PKF Francis Clark’s own fit-out, will create a real statement building that will serve their needs well.”

The move was prompted by year on year growth for the accountancy firm which now has eight offices across the South and South West of England, of which Exeter is the largest.  In total the firm employs a team of 600 people and 59 partners, 14 of whom will be based at the new Exeter office.

PKF Francis Clark’s managing partner, Andrew Richards commented: “As a firm, we have grown exponentially in recent years with a number of significant mergers as well as joining the PKF International Network of professional firms and this has been reflected in rising staff numbers, new clients of all sizes and increased turnover.

“Simply put, we have outgrown our current office in Exeter and need bigger premises to manage the levels of work and to accommodate future expansion.”
