Lovell Homes acquires panoramic greenfield site in Weston-super-Mare

National homebuilder Lovell Homes, represented by Alder King, has acquired the freehold of a 7.95 acre (3.22 ha) greenfield site on the edge of Weston-super-Mare for residential development.

Located off Wentwood Drive on Bleadon Hill, the site was acquired off market from a private property company Coldharbour Land Ltd off a guide price of £2.5 million.

Coldharbour Land was granted planning permission at appeal by North Somerset Council in December 2016 for up to 50 dwellings on the site, including 15 affordable homes available for rent or shared ownership.  Alder King Planning Consultants assisted in the appeal process, acting as expert witness on five year housing land supply on behalf of Coldharbour Land.
