LDF News April 2012

Newport City Council – are currently consulting on their ‘Draft Planning Obligations SPD’ and ‘Draft Parking Standards SPD’. The deadline for submitting comments to both of these documents is Monday 21 May 2012.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council – have adopted their ‘Residential Amenity Design Guidance SPD’ and ‘Minor Amendments to the Design and Sustainability SPD’. Both of these documents supplement Policy E1 in the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Adopted Local Plan (2006).

Bath and North East Somerset Council – are now consulting on their ‘Draft Neighbourhood Planning Guide’ and their ‘Sustainable Construction and Retrofitting SPD’. The deadline for submitting comments is 10 May 2012 and 3 May 2012 respectively.

Torfaen County Borough Council – following the previous round of consultation on their Deposit LDP and subsequent Alternative Sites consultation, Torfaen CBC have made a number of changes to the LDP which are outlined in a ‘Statement of Focused Changes’. These focused changes are now subject to formal consultation until Friday 18 May 2012.
