Using the strong agency skills within Alder King, transactions are structured with landowners reflecting the risk profile and specific requirements of retained developer clients. The team is now processing a large volume of sites for its retained clients.
Advice to landowners
The ability to identify land suitable for solar development also applies to landowners. Alder King is acting for several landowners with land considered to be suitable for solar development, providing advice about developer selection, market activity, values, risk reduction and transaction structure.
Planning Consultancy
Alder King Planning Consultants has developed a specialist expertise in the negotiation of planning consents for solar development. Using the established and well developed relationship between the planning consultancy team and local authorities, the team is retained by solar developers to negotiate consents for commercial scale projects. Alder King Planning Consultants hope to be the first consultant to secure a consent for a 5MW scheme in the UK, and are processing a significant volume of applications on behalf of clients across the region.
