Alder King announces three promotions

Leading independent property consultancy Alder King has announced three promotions in its Bristol office.  

Emma Smith and Tom Dugay from the firm’s award-winning agency team, and Catherine Norris from the planning team, are all promoted to associate with effect from 1 March. 

Tom Dugay joined Alder King as a graduate in 2005, focusing on office agency.  He has since been responsible for numerous transactions in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, including over 50 at the Paintworks scheme in Bristol since the first phase was developed in 2005.  Tom has also secured high profile lettings at Filton 20 on behalf of BAE Systems and at SouthGate in Bath on behalf of Aviva Investors.  His prolific deal tally was recognised in 2012 by industry publication Estates Gazette when he was named Bristol’s top dealmaker.

Emma Smith (pictured above right) originally joined Alder King’s Gloucester office in 2006 and, after a short spell elsewhere, returned to Alder King’s Bristol office in 2012 to focus on industrial and logistics agency.  Emma has since successfully supported a wide variety of development projects in Greater Bristol, including Caxton Business Park in Warmley, Armstrong Way in Yate and Belvedere Court in Weston Super Mare.

Cat Norris (pictured above left) joined Alder King’s planning team in 2014 and has risen swiftly to become an associate in recognition of outstanding work, particularly in securing planning permission for a new base for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity at Almondsbury as well as student accommodation schemes at Capital Quarter in Cardiff and the Comet Hotel in Hatfield.
