Bishop Sutton site sold for residential development

Property consultants Alder King, acting on behalf of a private landowner, have sold the freehold of a four acre greenfield site at Bishop Sutton to Barratt Homes for the development of 41 new homes.

The sale, agreed subject to planning, was concluded after Barratt Homes successfully secured planning consent on appeal from Bath & North East Somerset Council. 

Richard Williams, associate in Alder King’s residential development team, said: “It is good to see the positive outcome of Barratt’s appeal and successful conclusion of the transaction.”

The site is located on the outskirts of Bishop Sutton adjacent to an established residential area.  Construction work on the three, four and five bedroom homes is underway with practical completion scheduled for summer 2015.
