Bristol’s second largest city centre office transaction of 2014 is sign of more to follow

Property consultants Alder King, Compton Rose and GVA have secured Bristol’s second largest city centre office transaction of the year, after international education solutions provider Tribal Group took over 15,000 sq ft of accommodation for its head office at Kings Orchard, a landmark office building overlooking Bristol’s floating harbour.

Tribal Group, which will relocate its head office to Kings Orchard from Portland Square, has sub-let 15,200 sq ft of open-plan offices on parts of the first and second floors from the head tenant Bevan Brittan LLP.  Tribal Group was advised in the negotiations by Compton Rose.

The relocation provides Tribal with larger, prestigious accommodation in the heart of Bristol’s business district, enabling it to extend its range of products and services to an ever-increasing international client base.

Catherine Collis of Alder King’s office agency team said: “In recent years, Bristol’s office market has been characterised by a high proportion of smaller deals.  Tribal’s move to Kings Orchard and other ongoing transactions in the market, point to increased occupier demand and improving confidence.”

Rob Stanley, Director of Property and Facilities for Bevan Brittan LLP, said: “Kings Orchard offers some of the best quality office accommodation in the city, a fact recognised by Tribal Group who now join other occupiers including FRP Advisory, Close Brothers and Arista Insurance.”
