Bristol Charities provides almshouse accommodation, individual grants, and grants to other community organisations, and through providing mobility aids and adaptations for vulnerable people. In addition they run community development projects and support individuals to maintain independence.
Alder King was instructed to review the existing provision of FM services, the overall objective being to provide a critical analysis of the current FM service delivery model, in relation to potential resourcing, technical and financial efficiencies. The review covered three almshouse properties and a number of single occupation residential properties.
As part of the review we also completed an asset and service verification exercise. We visited all properties to confirm the on site assets to ensure that the service provision was appropriate to the property needs.
The review provided an analysis of the current service provision and identified a number of potential efficiencies to the current supply chain and management operations.
