Our industrial agency team used its in-depth knowledge of supply/demand dynamics on the eastern fringe of Bristol to advise leading industrial developer Chancerygate on its acquisition of the 6.6 acre former Amcor factory site in Warmley. The transaction was completed in August 2017.
In June 2018 Chancerygate secured planning permission for 121,000 sq ft of new industrial development on the site, comprising 15 production, distribution or trade counter units ranging in size from 3,700 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft. Work on the new Warmley Business Park is now underway and completion is scheduled for the end of Q1 2019.
Alder King has been appointed as agents on the new industrial space, as well as a newly-refurbished building offering a further 6,790 sq ft of ground floor offices.
The redevelopment of this brownfield site will inject urgently needed new stock into the city’s severely depleted industrial market, and has been welcomed particularly by businesses on the eastern side of Bristol and in Bath who want to expand locally but have been unable to find the quality of premises they need.
