DBi Services UK opens Weston-super-Mare operating centre after highways contract win

Infrastructure maintenance company DBi Services has leased the third and final distribution unit at Red Lodge Business Park in Weston-super-Mare.

DBi Services UK provides a variety of highway maintenance solutions, from road markings to landscaping, and recently secured a place on Highways England’s South West Construction Works Framework to deliver vegetation and soft estate management and maintenance services. 

As a result of this latest contract, it has opened a new operating centre at Unit 3 Red Lodge Business Park, strategically positioned on the motorway network in Weston-super-Mare, from which to deliver all operational and managerial support.

The company, which is growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions, plans to recruit new staff to fill some of the roles it has on offer.

Emma Smith of property consultancy Alder King, which acted for the landlord, said: “Red Lodge Business Park was occupied by Masters Golf until its relocation to larger premises in Portishead.  We have now let all three units at a market-leading rent of £6.25 per sq ft, demonstrating the strength of the property market in Weston.”

DBi joins existing occupiers UK Storage Company and Victorian House Sales in Units 5 and 4 respectively.  DBi has taken the 11,455 sq ft Unit 3 on a 10 year lease.
