Former roadside bank building to re-open as Subway

Acting on behalf of BSRC Holdings Ltd, property consultants Alder King have sold the freehold of a prominent former bank building in Brislington on the A4 Bath Road.
The property, at 817 Bath Road opposite Brislington Retail Park, has been acquired for the development of a new Subway store represented by McArthur Wilson.
The new store will be the 98th Subway across Bristol, Gloucester, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Rebecca Harries of Alder King commented: “This property sits on one of the main arterial routes into Bristol, with significant levels of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. As a result it attracted a lot of interest. After inviting best bids, we secured the sale of the property achieving in excess of the guide price of £400,000.”
The property provides 2,963 sq ft of space and sits on a 0.26 acre site providing generous car parking to the front and side of the building.
