Gloucester’s ‘Fort Knox’ on the market through Alder King
Property consultants Alder King are marketing one of Gloucester’s most secure properties, the former Securicor facility on Eastbrook Road, just off the city’s Ring Road.
The property, which was used for a secure cash collection operation, includes two detached buildings within a secure self-contained plot of approximately 0.61 acres.
The two storey high security office building provides 6,117 sq ft of space with specialist features including various secure safe rooms and a former counting room with a steel floor.
The detached industrial warehouse at the rear of the site provides 9,111 sq ft of space with two roller shutter doors.
Adrian Rowley, partner at Alder King, said: “This property is Gloucester’s mini-version of Fort Knox. Clearly it would be perfect for another security operator looking for a well-equipped facility with easy access to either J11a or J12 of the M5. However the property is very versatile and offers options for alternative uses, subject to planning consent.”
Alder King, acting on behalf of G4S, is offering the property for sale with vacant possession or to let on new terms to be agreed. Further information is available from Alder King’s Gloucester office on 01452 623290.
