IV Real Estate transforms two Bristol office buildings

Bristol IV Real Estate has completed the refurbishment of two prime office buildings in Bristol city centre.

Practical completion of 41 Corn Street and the adjoining Gilbert House has now been reached following the comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning.

The high-quality specification has brought two derelict buildings back to life that will enhance their prominent position on Corn Street and Bristol city centre.”

The contractor, CW Dukes, managed the construction process in a safe and efficient way during unprecedented times, to deliver two highly finished modern office buildings.

Grade II listed Gilbert House in Corn Street has been sympathetically restored to provide contemporary air-conditioned office floor plates from 2,000 sq ft to 9,500 sq ft. This has included new windows, fully restored wooden floors with accessible perimeter trucking and period style WC’s.

Gilbert House benefits from a communal roof terrace with far reaching views over the city and beyond. In addition, there are secure bike lockers and a fully accessible shower and changing room for tenants to use.

41 Corn Street has been stripped back and repositioned to provide brutalist original features married to modern finishes. The floors offer exceptional light from the new windows that, coupled with the excellent floor to ceiling height, give a feeling of volume throughout the 3,000 to 19,000 sq ft of accommodation.

All occupiers benefit from the shower, changing and drying facilities along with basement bike storage through a dedicated entrance. The second and fifth floors in addition offer private roof terraces for occupiers to use.
