Leading Cornwall visitor attraction markets development site

Alder King in Truro has been instructed by one of Cornwall’s leading visitor attractions to market a three acre development site at Summercourt near Newquay. Dairyland Farm World plans to dispose of the site, which lies immediately adjacent to the attraction, to invest further in its existing facilities.

The site has two access points off the A3058 and features a number of open areas and buildings including a substantial 2,357 sq ft period farm house in need of renovation, 20,487 sq ft of agricultural/workshop buildings, yard areas and ancillary land.

The site already has planning permission for a hotel and holiday cottages but also offers potential for other types of residential, commercial or leisure development, says Tom Duncan, head of agency at Alder King’s Truro office.

“Dairyland Farm World is an all-weather attraction visited by over 80,000 visitors a year.  This site offers an exciting development opportunity for those who wish to capitalise on this high footfall destination and we foresee strong interest from a wide variety of parties over the coming weeks.”
