Planning consent for new Co-op food store

Alder King Planning Consultants have secured planning permission from Wychavon District Council for a new Co-operative Convenience Food Store at Honeybourne, Worcestershire.

The scheme for the 350 sq m food store and 104 sq m office unit includes plans for landscaping, parking and associated works.

Rose Fox, planner at Alder King, said: “This new development will improve the provision of local services and enhance the sustainability of the village.”

The creation of the new Co-op store will create up to 25 new jobs; it is also expected that additional jobs will be created by the proposed office development.
