Planning permission granted on former factory site in Bradford on Avon

The former Griffin & Fudge factory premises on Whiteheads Lane in the centre of Bradford on Avon has secured a new future, seven years after the business closed.

Detailed planning permission has been obtained for the conversion of the old workshop and office building into an office suite on the ground floor and two apartments above. The redundant workshops are to be demolished and replaced with six townhouses.

James Gregory, partner at Alder King, commented: “The sympathetic redevelopment of this property offers a fantastic opportunity to have a 1,000 sq ft ground floor office suite in the town centre with plentiful facilities on its doorstop.  It is highly unusual to be able to offer what is effectively a brand new office suite within a building that offers original features.”
