Trio of lettings and new availability on Taunton’s Blackbrook Business Park

Property consultants Alder King in Taunton have let a trio of office suites on Blackbrook Business Park, Taunton’s most prominent and prestigious office park, and been instructed to market accommodation in another three buildings.

Two suites totalling 5,976 sq ft have been let in Courtenay House, one to Somerset Skills & Learning who have relocated from elsewhere on the park, and the other to the Education Development Trust.  Both suites have been taken on 10 year leases.  Meanwhile, a 1,175 sq ft suite in Blackdown House has been taken by Pardoes Solicitors who have relocated from Creech Castle.

The three newly available office buildings include Harrison House, Monmouth House and Blackbrook Gate 1.  All three provide good quality, flexible open plan accommodation of various sizes and can be split into suites to suit individual occupier requirements.

Harrison House is the largest and most modern of the three buildings, built in 2009 as a head office pre-let for Viridor Waste Management who have subsequently relocated.  Harrison House provides 12,356, sq ft of recently redecorated Grade A accommodation over two floors with 62 car parking spaces.

Monmouth House (pictured), previously occupied by Somerset Waste Partnership, is a two storey detached office providing 5,388 sq ft of accommodation with good car parking.  Alder King’s building consultancy team is undertaking improvements to the accommodation in readiness for a new occupier.

An office suite previously occupied by McCarthy & Stone in Blackbrook Gate 1 is is also available.  The 5,180 sq ft first floor suite is highly visible from the motorway junction and is being completely refurbished by Alder King’s building consultancy team to install new air conditioning, suspended ceilings with LED lighting and redecoration throughout.   Other occupiers in the building include Francis Clark accountants and Clarke Willmott solicitors.
