Truro’s former Edinburgh Woollen Mill store comes to market
Property consultants Alder King have been instructed to find a new occupier for the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill store on Pydar Street, Truro.
The imposing three storey building sits in a prime position on the pedestrianised section of Pydar Street. It is now arranged to provide a 2,029 sq ft retail area on the ground floor with 1,346 sq ft of staff/ancillary accommodation on the first floor. The second floor is currently unused. There is service access to the rear of the property with two parking spaces.
The prominence of this period building in the heart of Truro’s shopping area close to retailers such as New Look, Halifax, Mothercare and T K Maxx will make it very attractive to prospective occupiers, says Tom Duncan of Alder King’s Truro office.
“Truro’s retail centre has performed better than many other locations in recent years, with a lower than average vacancy rate. We continue to see good demand for prime retail stock and are confident there will be significant interest in this unit.”
The property is available to let on a new lease at an annual rent of £80,000. It may also be available freehold. More information about 19/19a Pydar Street is available from Alder King’s Truro office on 01872 227005 or via our Property Search.
