Vacant Welsh village retail unit to open as new hairdressing salon
Alder King’s Cardiff office, acting on behalf of Valleys to Coast Corporate Services, has agreed a deal that will bring an empty Welsh village retail unit back into use.
Hairdresser Martine Wingfield has taken a unit at 42 Heol Llan, part of a small parade of five shops, in the village of North Cornelly, west of Bridgend. The deal allows Martine to open a new salon closer to her home.
The 490 sq ft (45.5 sq m) property has been let on a new 15 year lease at a rent of £4,750 per annum.
Nicole Kruger of Alder King’s Cardiff office said: “This unit, with its wide glazed frontage, sits in a small retail parade and is well-positioned to become a hub of the local community.”
