Verve Properties’ The Brew House secures new occupier

Verve Properties’ Brew House redevelopment in central Bristol has secured another prestigious occupier who will relocate to the property this summer.

The new occupier, who wishes to remain anonymous, joins digital media company This is Zone which took half the 25,000 sq ft building last year.  It has agreed a new 10 year lease off a quoting rent of £19.50 per sq ft.

The company’s move to the Brew House was driven by the central location and quality of the space on offer.  As well as providing room for continued growth, the open-plan accommodation supports agile working and brings the team closer to the city’s growing creative and tech hub around Portland Square.

Alder King senior surveyor Tom Dugay, who acted for Verve Properties in the transaction, said: “The Brew House, with its modern loft-style workspace and creative fit-out, is perfectly suited to the region’s burgeoning technology, media and telecoms sectors.  We’ve now let three quarters of the accommodation with just one suite remaining.”

The Brew House was originally built for W Rogers Brewery in 1865.  The Grade II listed building now provides 25,000 sq ft of high grade, modern office accommodation over ground and four upper floors.

GVA acted for the tenant.
