1st Grade Care expands into Cardiff’s West Bute Street offices
Acting on behalf of United Welsh Housing Association, property consultants Alder King have let a high quality 2,000 sq ft office suite in Cardiff Bay to expanding Welsh care company 1st Grade Care.
The company, which provides domiciliary care services across Cardiff, is relocating from the nearby Portland House to Y Lanfa on West Bute Street.
The office suite is located on the ground floor of a five storey building incorporating residential accommodation on the upper floors. It was recently refurbished to a very high standard incorporating a new kitchen with break-out and meeting facilities.
1st Grade Care, which was unrepresented in the transaction, agreed a five year lease off a quoting rent of £12 per sq ft.
Alder King partner Owen Young said: “The letting of this ground floor commercial unit will generate valuable rental income for our client while providing a high quality base, close to the retail and leisure facilities of Mermaid Quay and the Millennium Centre for this expanding local business.”
