Italian aerospace firm Civitanavi establishes first UK office at Bristol’s Filton 20
A leading manufacturer of inertial navigation, georeferencing and stabilisation systems has chosen to open its first UK office at Filton 20, the 30-acre mixed use business park in north Bristol.
Civitanavi Systems was founded as a start-up in Italy in 2012 and has since expanded to three other locations in the country, serving customers in the aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.
As part of its long-term growth strategy and commitment to its civil and defence clients, it has now opened its first UK facility in the heart of Bristol’s aerospace and defence sector in Filton.
The 4,851 sq ft ground floor office suite in Brandon House boasts state of the art laboratory and manufacturing facilities with office and meeting space, creating a modern hub for advanced navigation technologies and techniques in the UK.
Alder King acted on behalf of the landlord BAE Systems (Dynamics) Ltd in negotiating the letting.
Tom Dugay of the firm’s office agency team said: “Filton 20 is a highly desirable location for high tech occupiers, offering good quality office and industrial accommodation and proximity to a wide range of prospective clients as well as the region’s skilled workforce. As such it consistently enjoys a very high occupancy rate.”
