Sneak peek of Alder King’s Shaun the Sheep
With less than a month to go until the Shaun in the City flock arrives in Bristol, Alder King is delighted to share a sneak peek of its Shaun the Sheep sculpture, designed by Bristol artist Brittany Molineux.
The predominantly green design reflects Shaun’s location within the grounds of Ashton Court, as well as Alder King’s corporate colours.
The Bristol trail follows the hugely popular Shaun in the City trail in London earlier this year which was visited by hundreds of thousands of people, and was extended for an extra week due to overwhelming public demand.
The Bristol trail features 70 brand new sculpture designs, each created by a different artist, designer or celebrity, and will be launched on Monday 6th July. At the end of the trail the sculptures will be auctioned with all proceeds going towards The Grand Appeal, which supports Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Martyn Jones, senior partner at Alder King, said: “Brittany, our artist, has done a wonderful job with our Shaun and we’re very much looking forward to meeting him, and all the others from across the city, when they arrive next month.
“We hope people will enjoy visiting our Shaun at Ashton Court – be sure to send or tweet us a photo of him using the hashtag #shauninthecity.”
