Woods Orchard site in Gloucester to be sold for residential development
Gloucester City Council has instructed property consultants Alder King to market a residential development plot adjacent to Robinswood Hill Country Park in Gloucester.
The Woods Orchard site was previously used as a car park for the Country Park but has now been granted outline planning consent for a single detached dwelling (see artist’s impression). The successful purchaser of the site will be required to provide a six bay replacement parking area off Fox Elms Road.
The property will be sold by informal tender. Interested parties should submit their offers to Alder King’s Gloucester office by 5.30pm on Friday 19 June 2015. It is being offered at a guide price of £100,000.
The 0.16 acre plot is an enclosed irregular shaped parcel of land which is accessed off Stroud Road via Fox Elms Road.
Phil Pratt, partner at Alder King’s Gloucester office, said: “This plot offers a unique development opportunity for a quality dwelling in a popular residential location. As with all residential development opportunities, we’re expecting strong interest from developers.”
