Alder King was instructed by the landowner to market this edge of settlement site in a North Dorset town, within a district that could not demonstrate a 5 year Housing Land Supply.
Following an open marketing process, we recommended Gladman to our clients and subsequently contracts were negotiated and agreed with an outline planning application submitted shortly after.
The site gained planning consent at appeal for 120 units on 16.3 acres and, following a competitive bid process, contracts were exchanged with Bovis Homes who have subsequently been granted Reserved Matters approval and will commence on site by the end of 2019.
