Humanity Centred Designs opens first Cornish store

Property consultants Alder King in Truro have let a prime retail unit with ancillary accommodation on Market Street in Falmouth to an award-winning material innovation hub and fashion enterprise.

Humanity Centred Designs, which transforms textile waste into innovative materials, will be opening its third UK store in the building.  It already operates stores in Bath and London, offering unique collections of artisanal products and handcrafted home décor, accessories and textiles.

The property occupies a prominent position on Market Street, Falmouth’s principal retail thoroughfare.  It benefits from 941 sq ft of open plan retail space, with a further 1,003 sq ft of accommodation on the first, second and third floors.

Alder King, acting on behalf of the property investment and development company Rowe Estates (UK) Ltd, negotiated a six year lease off a quoting rent of £27,500 per annum.
